We are Darian Colby & Jordan Conrad Greenbaum. We met on a blind date in August of 2021 in the peak of a global pandemic. Our first date was a masked-up, socially-distant beach bike ride, and together we have been chasing sunsets ever since.
Separately, we have spent our entire lives dedicated to an obsession for personal and professional growth, and together we have built this business as we now work in unison to share our dream with all of you! We have a handwritten note on our refrigerator door in the form of an acrostic poem of our last name and the very first letter G says “Growth leads to Greatness”
When we got married in July of 2023 in Lake Arrowhead, we wanted to find a way to help each other and our community accelerate our common goal of finding fulfillment and redefining wealth. Darian said to Jordan in her vows, “You are my greatest adventure, and my safest home all in one.” and thus – the idea for Colby & Conrad was born! Our passion is for creating safe and memorable environments for all families at all times to have the greatest shared experiences on their adventures across California.
Colby & Conrad is a boutique provider of vacation rental management services, with a passion for creating 5-star guest experiences. Our portfolio focuses on homes that provide an atmosphere of belonging for our guests, enabling them to create lasting connections and memories with one another throughout their stay.
Where we got married
Darian’s best friend bought a home here in the pandemic, and after only a few weekends of spending time in the mountains, we fell in love. Both with the town, and also with each other! Jordan proposed a year later on a hiking trail called Heart Rock, and we decided to get married in the woods at the Lake a year after that. It was the greatest decision we’ve ever made and we can’t wait to help others make similar loving memories in this special mountain town.
Where it all began
Jordan bought his first home ever in Joshua Tree. We loved how easy it was to unplug out there in the desert and feel so disconnected from reality but also hyper connected to nature all at once. We found the park to be so magical that we brought on several other homes there to help more people enjoy the serene starlight of the desert and the national park.
Where we call home
We live full time in LA – so we are biased – but there is nowhere else like it on earth! From the rich history of Hollywood, to the artistic culture of East LA, to the beautiful westside beaches – there is something in Los Angeles for every one… Including our dog who is certainly happy this is her hometown 🙂
