We do require a $100 pet fee and ask that you agree to our pet policy. We offer dog beds and dog bowls available for your convenience. Please keep pets off of all furniture including sofas and bedding, to minimize the risk of additional cleaning charges or unforeseen accidents or damages. Please be sure to pick up after your pet and dispose of waste in the proper garbage bins located near the driveway. Please see our House Rules for more information.

Please note that the pool & spa are serviced before and after every arrival and departure. For bookings of 3 days or more, our technicians will provide a complementary mid-stay cleaning and balance. Some of the things visitors to the high desert cherish the most are clean air, mesmerizing night skies, and the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem.

Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason, we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!
PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or video shoot for commercial/business use, please share the details of your project ahead of time. You MUST get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage. Photoshoots for your personal social media accounts are welcomed!

You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of Quail, rare Albino lizards, insects, snakes, coyotes, and endangered tortoises and kangaroo mice. Please use caution when outside, especially at night with any pets and children.

No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.
BACKYARD FENCING:

You’ll be a short drive from some of our favorite local spots, including the Joshua Tree Saloon, Crossroads Cafe, and shops like the Mincing Mockingbird and the Rock Shop where you can find crystals, gifts, and local art for sale. On weekends, the local farmer’s market offers fresh produce, grass-fed meats, and various artisan goods. Our home is a short (~12 minute) drive from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance.
You’ll have the entire house and private yard to yourself for the duration of your stay.
Hot Tub and Outside Rules
The hot tub is professionally cleaned on the day of your arrival and after each checkout. We also keep it heated so you can hop in at any time. Use the 4 buttons on the control panel to turn jets on/off, lights on/off, and heat up or heat down.
Please be respectful of our neighbors and refrain from playing amplified music outdoors. Quiet hours begin at 10pm.
Please do not bring glass in or near the hot tub. We offer designated plasticware for outdoor use. A $100 fee will be charged if draining is required.
Feel free to bring our designated pillows and blankets outdoors, just bring them back inside when you’re finished. Please take standard precautions.
Gardener arrives on Fridays or as needed based on weather conditions.

g) BBQ cleaned with brush.
h) Please turn-off lights, heater, air conditioner, fans, appliances, etc.
i) Please make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.
j) If applicable, leave keys, garage openers, and/or parking passes on the kitchen counter.
k) If Property is equipped with a lock-box, please return keys to the lock-box.
The cleaning fee is for a standard cleaning only. If the home was left in poor condition and additional cleaning is required, fees will be charged to Guests credit card on file at the rate of $50 per hour. A $25 per item fee will be charged for each lost key or remote, and $75 for each garage door opener and remote control that is damaged or not left at the Property upon check-out.

While we do have fencing around the entire property, please always keep an eye on your pets and children. Desert critters don’t find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat.
EV CHARGER:
We do offer an EV charger – level 2, tesla only 220 volts, 12-35 miles per hour. There is also a Tesla Supercharger conveniently located in town, as well as a public EV charging station nearby at Joshua Tree Distillery, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.
PARKING:
Street parking is NOT permitted by the County. Please be sure to keep all cars parked in designated parking spots in order to avoid tickets, fines, and/or towing of vehicles.
